to set up for this moment, you must all identify with that period after a break-up when your ex-significant other picks up a new girlfriend/boyfriend, and you just hate that dude, whoever she/he is, regardless of whether you know him/her or not.
and then your ex breaks up with that person too, and there is that moment of weird sympathy and solidarity, where you want to take them out for a beer and commiserate about that bitch, where the shit on their facebook profile that you formerly ridiculed are now amusing little quirks of character.
and then you spend too much time with them and realise that they really were douches after all, and can’t wait to finish your beer so you can get the fuck out of there.

not sure if i identify exactly but this is kind of interesting.
Time was when we weren’t interrupted quite as much as we are these days. It’s hard to remember, but there was a day without mobile phones, Twitter, Facebook, email, or pop-up ads. We used to be able to take the time to learn something new.
Those days are over. It’s not that we don’t learn…
